Are you dog-friendly?

Yes, absolutely! We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs at Engineman's Cottage. There are fantastic dog-friendly walks right from our front door, including the beautiful Low Barns Nature Reserve.

Where can we park?

We have private, dedicated parking spaces right at the property for your convenience, making loading and unloading your luggage effortless.

What is the garden layout like?

We have three distinct outdoor areas for you to enjoy. There is a secure back and front yard attached to the cottage, which is perfect for a morning coffee, or an evening drink. Directly across the quiet access lane, you will find our main private garden, complete with outdoor furniture and a BBQ—ideal for relaxing on warmer days.

Is Wi-Fi included, and can we watch TV?

Yes, we provide free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the cottage. Both the living room and the top-floor double bedroom are equipped with Smart TVs, so you can easily log into your favourite streaming services during your downtime.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. This allows our housekeeping team enough time to ensure the cottage is spotlessly clean for our next guests.

What supplies are provided for our stay?

We provide all freshly laundered towels, bed linens, a hairdryer, an iron, and an ironing board. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and plenty of storage for your groceries. We also keep a log burner stocked with an initial supply of wood to make your first evening extra cosy!
